The School of Education - University of Aarhus, DPU is situated in the Northern part of Copenhagen and may be reached by taxicab from the airport in 35 mins. The fare is approximately DKK 250. The airport is serving the City by train every 10 min. The ride takes 12 min. to the Central Railway Station and the one-way fare is DKK 28,50. The Central Railway Station is 15 mins. ride by taxi from The University of Education. The Conference site is served by the Subway (S toget) from the Central Railway Station train no. H or H+ direction Farum departure every 09 13 29 33 49 and 53 mins. past full hour. The stop next to the Conference site is Emdrup Station.
Congress Language
The Congress language is English. Abstracts are always in English.
It is possible to present a paper in one of the Nordic languages, but it must be clearly announced in the programme.
Presentations in Nordic languages will be placed at the end of the sessions.

Registration fees
In order to participate in the Conference attendees are kindly requested to use the Online Registration via the website of the Conference www.cmscongress.com/nera2008/start.htm. Here you also find a paper version of the Registration Form for down load, if you wish to register via normal mail. The Form must be sent to the Conference Secretariat, and make sure you register no later than December 1st, 2007, if you wish to take advantage of the low fee.

The registration fee covers participation in the scientific programme, Final Programme and Abstract Book and coffee/ tea breaks and lunches according to the programme.
NERA membership
Together with your Congress registration you may sign up for membership of NERA and take advantage of the lower registration fee. The membership 2008 also includes prescription on the journal Nordisk Pedagogik. The membership fee for 2008 is DKK 540 and for students DKK 360.
Refund policy
Pre-registered participants who are unable to attend the Congress will have their registration fee returned, less an administrative fee of DKK 550 provided written notice of nonattendance is received by no later than January 15, 2008. From January 16, 2008 no refund may be expected. All refunds will be made after the Congress. Should your paper not be accepted, you may have your registration fee returned in full, if you should wish so.

All banking charges must be paid by the participants and will not be covered by neither the Conference nor Conference and Meeting Services.

Conference Confirmation
When the amount is settled, registrants will receive a Conference Registration Card, which serves as a receipt and no further documents in this respect will be issued.
Accommodation
Hotel rooms will be booked for the official Conference period in the category indicated on the Registration Form, which also serves as a Housing Form. The Conference has pre-reserved a number of rooms at a special Conference price at the official hotels for the Conference. The participants can take advantage of the pre-reservation by filling in the Hotel part of the Registration Form. The hotel deposit must be paid to Conference and Meeting Services at the same time as the registration to the Conference.

All rooms are with private bath or shower and the prices are inclusive of all taxes, service and breakfast buffet. Rooms will be booked on a first come first served basis. Please observe that the number of pre-booked rooms is limited. It is therefore advisable to book as early as possible.
All official hotels accept the major credit cards. Possible alterations to your original hotel reservation should be addressed to Conference and Meeting Services and NOT to the hotel.
